A group wedding ceremony featuring 52 couples was recently held at the Lin-gang Performing Arts Center in the Lin-gang Special Area, Shanghai.

The event, which was part of the 2023 Lin-gang Youth Love Festival, was aimed at helping young individuals find their life partners.

During the ceremony, the Lin-gang Special Area unveiled a set of 20 measures designed to promote youth development in the urban areas of Lin-gang. These measures are related to areas like employment services, innovation and entrepreneurship, housing, life services, education services, and youth guidance.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a wedding parade around the lake in eco-friendly wedding cars. At the same time, 520 single young men and women gathered near Dishui Lake to interact and form new friendships.

Authorities of the Lin-gang Special Area said they are planning to introduce a dating platform to further support the social lives of its young residents.
