The Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai unveiled management regulations for the Dishui Innovation Station, while the first batch of innovation stations were announced on Sept 26.

The event aimed to guide and cultivate more specialized incubator operators in the Lin-gang Special Area, attract more industry leaders and entrepreneurs to settle there and make it a new hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in Shanghai.

The newly released policy focuses on creating incubation brands, nurturing professional incubators, developing specialized incubation personnel and helping to develop tech enterprises.

During the event, the first batch of five innovation stations were recognized, and they signed contracts with 10 resident companies.

The Lin-gang Special Area Innovation Station Ecological Alliance was also established during the event.

Representatives from a group of organizations were invited to witness the launch of the alliance. It's hoped it will help cultivate a strong atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship and attracts various talent and resources to gather and form a cluster effect.

Those present included the high-tech department of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, the Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center and private equity funds in the area.
