On May 22, CHANGED (Nantong Changyida New Material Co Ltd) held a ceremony in Lin-gang Lanwan – an industrial park in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area – to mark the mass production of the world's first integrated optical functional panel and the signing of the company's headquarters project.

The second phase of CHANGED's project in Lin-gang, the headquarters project, involves a 1-billion-yuan ($138 million) investment and includes 66,000 square meters of custom-built facilities. These will house the global headquarters for the industrialization and R&D of quantum dot optical functional panels for new displays. Once operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output of at least 1 billion yuan.

On the same day, the first phase of CHANGED's integrated optical functional panel project, its production facility, began mass production. This project combines multiple functions, which promotes standardized design and automated assembly of display equipment.

The company's production facility was rapidly completed in less than five months, showcasing the efficiency and speed of Lin-gang. The new materials industry is a key focus for Lin-gang, as it is essential for fostering innovation and building a modern industrial system. CHANGED's headquarters will boost the local supply chain, enhance industrial upgrading, and drive economic growth.
