In pics: Festive vibe felt in Lin-gang Special Area

The Spring Festival, or Chinese Lunar New Year, is the most important traditional Chinese festival for family reunions and it fell on Jan 22 this year.

Streets, commercial buildings, residential areas and scenic areas in the the Lin-gang Special Area – in East China's Shanghai city – were all decorated with vibrantly colored lanterns and streamers, creating a real festive vibe.
